The Inn is located approximately 30 miles east of Washington, DC. We’re conveniently located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay with no need to cross Maryland’s Bay Bridge to experience all that the Bay has to offer!

Complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi access is available to all guests. Our luxury rooms have CAT5 cable receptacles for wired access.
Breakfast is available at the Chesapeake Market & Deli just steps from the Inn. Ketch 22, also located onsite, offers a weekend brunch.
We do not offer room service at this time. We’re happy to help you arrange reservations for Ketch 22 or direct you to menus for carry out.
Our fitness center is open daily 8:00am – 8:00pm The center includes treadmills, stationary bikes, an elliptical machine, free weights, and a resistance trainer. We also offer seasonal outdoor yoga and fitness classes.
Your Resort Passes will be valid until 11:00am on your day of departure.
There is a hair salon on site. Additional spa services are within a 10-minute drive.
Coin operated laundry facilities are located on the resort property and available for guest use. We do not offer dry cleaning services.

Our rooms have a no pet policy. Perfect Pet Resort will be happy to provide your pet their very own vacation while you stay at the Inn with us! Service animals are welcome as per the ADA. Please note, service animals cannot be left unattended in any area of the Inn.
We are a boutique Inn with 34 rooms and 11 unique suites. Please book early to reserve your desired accommodation!
Only your room has access to your hot tub patio area which is open to the sky, but surrounded by outdoor privacy walls.
Rooms and suites are located within the Inn Courtyard except for three suites that are within the marina complex. Those suites have marina views and are a short walk to the Inn. Please see Suite descriptions or contact us to help you choose your perfect accommodation!
The hotel has a few adjoining rooms. Please discuss this request with our reservation specialist upon booking.
Yes! We offer extended stays in our suites during the off season. These stays require a minimum of 30 days to be eligible for a discounted rate.

We’re committed to the health and safety of all guests and team members. With guidance from the CDC and state agencies, we’ve implemented practices like social distancing, hand sanitizing stations throughout the property, and safety plexiglass partitions at the front desk.

To ensure the safety of all guests and team members, face masks that cover the nose and mouth are required outdoors while walking the property.
Each of our team members go through health checks before the start of every shift. We encourage all team members to wash hands frequently and they are required to wear PPE at all times.
We have team training and updates in place to ensure ongoing awareness.
Thorough and frequent cleaning protocols are followed with rigorous attention to high-touch surfaces throughout the property.
Housekeeping changes their PPE between cleaning rooms and after guest departure; each room is treated with an electric cold fogger and EPA-approved disinfectant. Our fitness center is currently available by appointment only to allow for cleaning between each use.
We follow all government-mandated safety measures to keep you safe while you enjoy your stay with us. Ketch 22 Restaurant and the Chesapeake Market & Deli operate at or below capacity with seating arranged to allow distancing.
When open, our outdoor pool operates at or below mandated capacity levels.
Herrington on the Bay hosts events with every measure taken for food service and guest safety, including air purifiers for our venues.
All rooms and suites are accessed through private entrances from the outside with no elevators or shared indoor common areas so interaction between parties is very limited.
